Visit the world’s only mainland breeding colony of Royal Albatross, the historic Fort Taiaroa and see the Little Blue Penguin colony at Pilots Beach. A one-and-a-half-hour tour of the Speights Brewery will take visitors back in time to the very beginning of the brewery in 1876. Visitors will get a full sensory experience as they see, smell, touch and taste what makes the ‘Pride of the South.’ The story of the Speights Brewery is one to tick off the bucket list! Larnach Castle
Did you know that Dunedin has the only castle in New Zealand? Larnach Castle is just a 20-minute drive along the peninsula. Visitors can have guided tours or walk freely around the beautiful picturesque gardens and castle. The castle holds many stories and is well worth the visit. Refreshments are available in the ballroom of the castle in the café. A must do while you are in Dunedin.
